I love all of my dreads from Dreadfullhippie, but these ones just hit different! I used to bleach and dye my hair frequently and pink was one of my favorite colors. I started to get that itch to destroy my hair again, but chose wisely and got these beauties! They are so perfectly made, soft, easy to install and the confidence gain is unmatched. Mixed with the blush melt, the overall look is *chef's kiss*.

Install was a learning curve (determining spacing & how much weight/volume is practical for my body) but I’m obsessed with how they look and feel.
3 packs was perfect for partial dreads for me. The color matches perfectly and they feel so nice! I’m super happy with these.
Guys I got enough for a partial to try it out, had a zoom consult with Laney and less than 24hrs later I ordered enough for a full set:) Pros and cons Pro: partial really lets you dip your toes in, see if it’s worth it to you. Colors are vibrant, you can see the care in their work. The videos and Dreaducation are perfect if you’re a beginner. Con: my hair (which there is a lot of) gets tangled in the dreads easy so am/pm brush is a must. I kinda wish they had a placement guide but honestly after I put them in I enjoyed the process being more fluid. My only real ask would be to provide a recommendation chart for color quantities when you want to mix colors. I.e. full set = 5 base colors and 4 high lights and 3 low lights. Or whatever it is. Expect a waiting time. I run my own business so I knew what to expect for a HIGH QUALITY HANDMADE product but just know the wait is worth it. Completely in love with my dreads, it did take some time to get them but the wonderful people at dreadfulhippie kept me updated and extremely kind 10/10 would recommend. I had an amazing experience and will be ordering again

I have a mix of 4 different colors but all were beautiful! They were very soft and easy to install. I’m going to purchase more soon! I have a future goal to buy different colors through Dreadfullhippie so that I can have several different looks available. I would buy these again ten times over!

These dreads came very very loose and just not put together very well. Honestly, as someone who doesn’t like to complain much, this was an eye opening experience for me. I very much expected a lot better quality when I paid so much for these but since I was under the impression that I would receive real human dreads in good quality, I am just not sure that it is even possible.
Think twice before purching! It look along time to recieve and when it came the PROMISED quality fell way short. The braids looked like a 3rd grader did them. For the customer service it was lip service. No information on how to apply the colors to achieve the look NOTHING. I expected more for the HIGH price of the product. Feel short of my first dread purchase for sure.

Love the addition of the blue grey to my mix, adds some fun dimension and the blue tint is more prominent when I’m out in the sun, so much fun! 😍
I ordered the dark brown braids, they are very pretty and arrived very quickly. Just wish they didn’t have such a red undertone to them, please come out with a more neutral brown. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase!

These are the highest quality locs I have ever worn. They’re the softest out of all my sets I own. They’re beautifully thick, but not heavy to where your neck will hurt. It’s totally worth the price and worth the month long wait. I will be solely buying these locs whenever I want different colors. Plus they can reseal them for me if I need it. These are truly the best locs I will ever own. I’m so happy I found this shop!

Absolutely love my dreads!! Quality and color are phenomenal. For comparison my hair is a level 3 dark brown and I am wearing the dark brown and peacock dreads.
I’m so glad I finally made the purchase!! I was worried that it wouldn’t be appropriate for my corporate job but my DM and customers like yh! Love the quality and the color! The peacock is a fun pop of color. I’m obsessed!
They came in much faster than expected which was a great surprise and I loved the packaging 💗 Putting them in for the first time was a bit of a learning curve. I ended up getting my niece to install them for me after watching some videos because I wasn't able to do it myself (even though I tried lol) and both the hair dressers I typically go to had no idea what to do with them even after showing them the install video etc. In the end they came out great and I love them. Thank you so much!! *I keep reminding myself that everyone says to give it a couple days to get used to them. The first night trying to sleep with them was a little rough and my head was still a little tender from the install. But last night was much better and I noticed that as the days go on and they relax more I love them even more 😁💗 Thank you again!!
