Two programs, two dashboards. The link program above runs on GoAffPro: your link and code work anywhere, and we pay you by PayPal. TikTok Shop runs completely inside TikTok: you tag the product in the app, and TikTok sets the commission, tracks the sale and pays you. Neither dashboard can see the other's sales.

how to get started

join tiktok shop for creators

From your profile, open TikTok Studio, then TikTok Shop for Creator. Tap Join, accept TikTok's terms and verify your identity so your product links don't get hidden.

set up your payout

Add your bank info under Earnings. You can earn commission without it, but you can't withdraw until it's set up.

connect with us

Accept our invite under Collaborations, or search DreadFullHippie in Find Products. Add our sets to your showcase. You can only tag products that are in your showcase.

request a refundable sample

On the product page, request a sample, confirm your address and add a sentence about what you'll film. You pay for the sample up front, and TikTok refunds you once you post a qualifying video with the product tagged. Since every set is handmade, allow 2–3 weeks for it to arrive.

film the install

Get your "before" before your sample arrives. Show the dreads in the first two seconds, film the install, and talk to the camera while you work.

On the post screen, tap Add Link, then Products, and pick the set. Turn on Content Disclosure and add #ad. No product tag means no commission. Then submit the video against your sample request under Samples so your refund goes through, and watch your Earnings.

good to know

You need to be 18 or older, based in the US, with an account in good standing and the latest version of the TikTok app.
TikTok sets its own follower requirements, and newer creators may start with limits on shoppable posts. Not there yet? Ask us for a direct invite.
On TikTok, tag the product in the app. A TikTok video that sends people to your GoAffPro link in bio earns through the link program instead.
TikTok enforces its own content rules automatically. Keep before-and-afters unedited and unfiltered, and always disclose.
Going LIVE? Tap the shopping bag and add a set from your showcase so viewers can buy during the stream.

How do I apply?

Tap apply now and fill out the short form on GoAffPro, our affiliate platform. Tell us where you post and why DreadFullHippie fits your audience. We review every application by hand and email you once it's decided.

Do I need a minimum number of followers?

No. We care more about whether your audience would love dreads than how big it is. A small, engaged following often sells better than a big one. (TikTok Shop has its own follower rules, which are set by TikTok.)

How much do I earn?

15% of the order subtotal on every order tracked to your link or code, after discounts and before shipping and taxes. Our complete looks run $500 to $1,000+, so one sale can be a real payout.

When and how do I get paid?

Monthly, by PayPal, once your approved balance is at least $5. Make sure your PayPal email is saved in your GoAffPro dashboard.

Why is a commission showing as pending?

Every commission stays pending for a short period so we can account for cancellations and exchanges. Because our dreads are made to order and ship in 2–3 weeks, a commission is approved once the order has shipped and the exchange window has closed. After that it's added to your next monthly payout.

Is TikTok Shop part of this?

It's a separate program that runs side by side. See the TikTok Shop section above. You can join one or both.

Do I get free product?

TikTok Shop creators can request a refundable sample through the app: you buy it, post a qualifying video with the product tagged, and TikTok refunds you. For the link program, we gift product to affiliates who are creating consistently and driving sales. Just ask us.

What can I say about the dreads?

Share your real experience: how they look, how they feel, how the install went and how you wear them. Don't make claims about hair growth, hair health or anything medical, and don't promise results we can't guarantee. Stick to the facts on our product pages for prices, shipping times and policies.

Do I have to disclose that I'm an affiliate?

Yes, every time. It's required by the FTC. Put a clear disclosure such as #ad or "I earn a commission from my link" where people will see it before they click, and use the platform's paid partnership or disclosure tool when there is one.

What if a customer asks me about their order?

Send them to us at info@dreadfullhippie.com or 801-509-0428. We handle all orders, shipping, exchanges and shade questions so you don't have to.

How many posts do you expect?

There's no quota. The affiliates who earn the most post about us regularly, at least a couple of times a month, and show the dreads in their real life, not just in one review.

Program terms

Please read these before you apply. By applying, you agree to them. We kept the language plain, but they're still binding.

1. The program and your acceptance

The DreadFullHippie Affiliate Program ("Program") is run by DreadFullHippie ("we," "us"). By applying, you agree to these terms. We may approve or decline any application for any reason.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information in your application and keep it up to date.

3. Independent contractor

You're an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of DreadFullHippie. You're responsible for your own taxes. US affiliates who earn $600 or more in a calendar year may be asked for a W-9.

4. Commission

You earn 15% of the order subtotal, after discounts and excluding shipping, taxes and gift cards, on qualifying orders tracked to your link or code. Orders that are cancelled, exchanged for a refund, charged back or fraudulent don't earn commission, and commission already paid on them may be deducted from future payouts. Orders you place for yourself don't qualify. We may change the commission rate with notice.

5. Attribution and tracking

Tracking runs through GoAffPro. A sale is credited to you when a customer orders within 15 days of clicking your link, or uses your code at checkout. If more than one affiliate is involved, the most recent click or the code used gets the credit. We aren't responsible for sales that aren't tracked because of cookie blocking, device changes or other technical issues outside our control.

6. Payment

Approved commissions are paid monthly by PayPal once your balance reaches $5. Commissions are approved after the order has shipped and our exchange window has closed. You're responsible for a valid PayPal account. Unclaimed balances on terminated accounts may be forfeited.

7. Prohibited promotion

You may not: bid on paid search ads using "DreadFullHippie" or misspellings of it; post your code on coupon or deal sites; use spam, fake reviews, bots or misleading ads; create accounts or pages that pretend to be DreadFullHippie; or promote us next to content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit or illegal.

8. Content standards and disclosure

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in every post, as required by FTC guidelines and each platform's rules. Don't make medical or hair-growth claims, misrepresent prices, shipping times or policies, or edit before-and-after photos in a misleading way.

9. Use of our brand

We grant you a limited, revocable right to use our name, logo and product images only to promote DreadFullHippie under these terms. You may not alter our logo or register domains, handles or ads that use our name.

10. Your content

You own the content you create. By tagging us or submitting content to us, you allow us to repost and share it on our website and social channels with credit to you. If we want to use your content in paid ads, we'll ask you first.

11. Confidentiality

Anything we share with you privately, like upcoming launches, sales or commission details, is confidential until we make it public.

12. No guarantees

We don't guarantee any level of sales or earnings. The Program and tracking platform are provided as-is, and we may experience downtime or errors.

13. Liability and indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the commissions owed to you in the prior three months. You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise from your content or your breach of these terms.

14. Termination

Either of us can end your participation at any time. If you break these terms, we may withhold unpaid commission. Otherwise, valid commissions earned before termination will be paid out on the normal schedule.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new date at the top of this section, and continuing in the Program means you accept the changes.

16. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the full agreement between us about the Program.
